Privacy Policy

Effective July 22, 2026 · Applies to SaveBack for iOS

SaveBack is built to keep your data on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no SaveBack servers. This policy explains what the app stores, and the one case where data leaves your phone.

What stays on your device

What leaves your device

One feature makes a network request: checking store flyers. When you run a flyer check, SaveBack sends a search query to Flipp (backflipp.wishabi.com), the public weekly-ad search service. That request contains:

No receipt image, price paid, personal identifier, or account information is sent. SaveBack has no accounts. Requests to Flipp are subject to Flipp's own privacy policy. Like any web service, Flipp can see the IP address the request comes from.

If you tap a deal or use the online price search, the link opens in your browser (flipp.com or google.com). Those sites operate under their own privacy policies.

Data retention and deletion

Everything SaveBack stores lives on your iPhone. You can delete any receipt inside the app at any time, and deleting the app removes all of its data. There is nothing to delete on a server, because there isn't one.

Children

SaveBack is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If SaveBack's data practices ever change, for example if a future version adds an online feature, this policy will be updated here and the effective date revised before the change ships.
