Privacy Policy

Crown & Crypt is a game you play on your own device. This policy explains what happens to your information when you play it. In short: nothing leaves your device, and nothing is collected.

Information we collect

None. The game does not collect, store on any server, sell or share any personal information. It has no account or sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.

What is kept on your device

To remember your play, the game saves a small amount of data on your device only: which fields you have won, your stars, the hints you have used, and your settings such as sound and music volume. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it in the game's Settings, and deleting the app removes it entirely.

Purchases

The full road is unlocked with a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play. The payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. The game receives only whether the purchase was made, never your payment details, and keeps that on your device.

Game Center and Google Play Games

If you are signed in to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, the game may report achievements you unlock to that service, under your own account there. That information is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. The game itself does not receive or keep your Game Center or Play Games profile.

Internet connection

The game does not need an internet connection and does not contact any server of ours. App updates are delivered by the App Store, Google Play or Steam. On Steam, Steam Cloud may keep a copy of your save under your Steam account, handled by Valve under its own privacy policy.

This website

This website counts its visits with GoatCounter: which pages are opened, and roughly from where and on what kind of device. It sets no cookies, keeps no personal information and follows no one across other sites. The browser version of the game on this site is counted the same way, as a page visit, and keeps its progress in your browser only.

The trailer on the home page plays from YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; from then on YouTube's own privacy policy applies to it.

Children

Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
